As the landscape surrounding Junction Works and Digbeth is rapidly changing, Carole Wright, project manager, community gardener and beekeeper, will lead a series of walks exploring the past, present and future uses of Birmingham. Each walk will be a journey for finding things and people, remembering what has come before and what can be traced to the present day. She will focus on Birmingham’s industrial past, uprisings and strikes, from the afro carribean community in Handsworth to the Irish migrant diaspora.
