Throughout 2020, Daisy LaFarge will be writer in residence at Grand Union. Taking the wildlife, flora and fauna living within the Junction Works site and structures as a starting point, Daisy will consider the site in relation to biosemiotics, a field of biology and semiotics that studies meaning-making. She will also focus on the interpretation of signs and codes in the biological realm – how non-human life forms use language.
