Richie Maitland is a human rights activist and lawyer from Grenada. He is the co-founder of Groundation Grenada, a human rights and arts-based social action collective. He has done extensive work in the region around LGBTI rights, including awareness-raising campaigns, research on cutting edge cases in the region, and advocacy before the UN and Inter-American Human Rights Commission. He is a Chevening scholar, and currently completing a Masters in Human Rights Law in the UK.
